It looks easy, but you would be surprised how few football players practice controlling the ball. There is a reason high school gym teachers dribble the ball around a skittles set or carry it down a straight path without kicking it too far forward. You need the ability to maintain control and stance even when you are not. Buy a set of cones and get used to dribbling the ball at different distances. The best way to get better at anything is practice, practice, practice. You have probably heard it often.
If you want to develop your skills further, you need to train continuously. Training in a club is good, but you do not necessarily have to join a club. Instead, you can hone your technique by yourself in your backyard or with a few friends at your local park.
Diligence, maximizing one’s potential, recognizing one’s limitations and striving to strengthen them are the most important factors to consider when training. Football is a game where strategy and tactics are as important as technical skill. If you want to improve, you absolutely must immerse yourself in the game. That means reading about football, watching football, talking to other players, and discussing strategy.
Then you can apply what you have learned in the field. Being able to outsmart your rivals is an important aspect of the game, and if you do it well, it will be appreciated. Practice juggling – You do not need a lot of space to practice juggling. The ability to juggle the ball well gives you more control and improves your ball handling skills without necessarily juggling the ball during play.
Select a position to focus on and explore the primary responsibilities of that role. Try to keep control of the ball a little longer each time you juggle. If you can do it for 5 minutes, try it for 10 minutes. Use our analog kitchen timer or set a timer on your smartphone.
You can control and stop the ball more effectively.
